Triumphal arch. It is created by the architect O. Bowe in 1826-1828 in honor of a victory of the Russian weapon in Patriotic war of 1812 and it is established in 1834 at the Tver outpost - the present area of the Belarusian station.
In 1936, during the renovation of the square arch was dismantled.
In more than 30 years it was restored, reproduced sculptural decoration on the details of the surviving cast colonnade of 12 new cast-iron columns. On November 6, 1968 the Triumphal arch was solemnly open on Kutuzovsky Avenue.

Une série de photo essentiellement floues car mon objectif avait du jeu, les 3 vis permettant de controler le diaphragme de l objectif s étaient desserées par les virabtions et coups encaissés par l' appareil lors de sa manipulation délicate au cours de mes déplacements (o´･_･). La plupart des photos offrent une mise au point uniquement dans le coin bas à droite. D autres n en offrent aucune《《《《《《《》》》》》》》》》 Series of pics taken with a lense that got too much play ( all the three screws that control block for aperture were loose). Most of the pics have their focus point on lower right corner. Some have neither...
Glimpse of modern Saïgon with hints of past city. Brutalism was better in some ways. Si ce n'est l'embarcation en bois cette vision serait réplicable dans de nombreux endroits du globe. Il y a une certaine perte de sens.
